Current Info about the Earthquake: Earthquake Information No.1 Date and Time: 12 May 2021 - 09:09 AM Magnitude = 5.8 Depth = 110 kilometers Location = 13.55N, 120.73E - 011 km N 01° E of Abra De Ilog (Occidental Mindoro) Because the earthquake is deep, many will feel it but it is not damaging according to Dr. Solidum, head of PHIVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology). If the Magnitude 5.8 is shallow, like less than 10 kilometers, it is possible that we will see the damage because the energy of the earthquake is not reduced much. The place where it happened is like an 1 1/2 hour flight from my place. I hope the news will continue that nothing bad happened in Abra De Ilog and in other towns in Occidental Mindoro. Praying for the safety of my fellow countrymen there.
