Addicted To British Crime Shows (Sort of) / myLot

I know that there are quite few British Mylotters here and maybe some others, who, like me really like the way that TV crime series are written and acted. They just seem more "real" somehow than most American shows like that. Over the last few years, we have watched Shetlands (required subtitles,)DCI Banks (love that actor's facial expressions), Broadchurch, some of Vera, Endeavour, Hinterland, and most recently, George Gently and Jack Frost, and MI 5. I may be laughed at by some due to my fondness for some of these shows, but we find them fascinating, Anyone else a Brit crime show fan?

I am not laughing at all because I am also a fan of Brit crime shows. I always loved also the British crime authors (Agatha Christie and Conan Doyle).

Try watching Line of Duty. If you can get hold of every season of the show it's a good watch. Shetlands was quite good. The UK shows do seem a lot more realistic than American shows But Ironside and LoJack and Hill Street Blues were all really good.

I loved Hill Street and NYPD Blue too. I did not check out LoJack, will have to look it up.
