In the era of pandemic smart phones have become mandatory part of our life and each one of us (that includes me) remains highly dependent on smart phones. Whenever we are free and nothing else to do, we get hold of our mobile and start browsing. Do you get hold or your mobile quite often? Do you check it before you go to sleep and when you get up early in the morning? Do you feel that smart phones have become indispensable in our life and you feel addicted to it? NO, I use my computer to go online and my smartphone is all the time near my handbag because I keep it with me when I go outside in case I need to place a call. I am not at all addicted.

It is good that you use your PC instead of smart phone to access mylot and other sites. No doubt with big screens our laptop and PCs are more convenient, in terms of visibility, in comparison to our mobile phones. It is good that you are not highly dependent upon your smart phone.

@dpk262006 More than the large screen, what I appreciate using a computer is my big keyboard. I am a fast typist, with a phone it would take ages to reply to all my notifications.

@LadyDuck Yes, you are right that while sitting on PC or our laptop, we have the luxury of typing on full qwerty key board, which is not the case on our smart phone. However, through touch typing, you could get pretty good speed.

It is good that you do not check your phone either before going to sleep or when you get up. However, it seems that during day time it is your companion and you keep it with you most of the time? Have a great day!

@m_audrey6788 It sounds strange that you do not carry it along with you. In case someone wants to contact with you, when you are outside, how would he contact you without mobile phone?

Mobile phones at the moment have replaced computers to large extent particularly during this time of home isolation. We do all our day to day activities like bill payments, trading and all through mobile phones. Mobile therefore has become more than addiction.

Yes, there is no doubt that smart phones have replaced laptops and PCs in the modern era. It is pandemic era and we are confined to our homes, therefore, smart phone is the major source of transacting our business on line and for entertainment.

It's so addictive.. not just Smartphone, i think i hang my life on Gadget during the Pandemic. Smartphone for social media like Instragram and Twitter.. Computer for streaming Netflix or Youtube.. It's not a problem if we can leave them a while and doing other things like reading a Book, exercising, or cleaning.. i am trying to do that..

Yes, in the era of pandemic, it gets difficult to make do without smart phones or PCs etc. We keep connected to others on social media platforms, through our smart phones. Sometimes, it is better to read a book and do other jobs to keep ourselves away from our smart phone.

You use your smart phone only when you are at home? How much time do you generally spend on your smart phone?
