Happy day everyone!
Yesterday, the Ice Princess received her first Pfizer shot. Brave little girl made a TikTok video of it. The smile in her eyes and her thumbs up afterwards made me cry. Now she will be ready for her Bat Mitzvah and overnight camp in June.
Today, my cleaning lady returned for the first time in 17 months. No masks and lots of hugging and kissing. She was impressed with how well we kept the house clean.
Hubs bought me a load of flowers to plant, sigh, and an order of flip flops, dressy masks, and clothes arrived. What’s a girl to do?
It’s Friday date night. I am one happy, happy lady. It’s so beautiful out, too!

2021 promised to be better than 2020. However, the last 1 and a half months have been very challenging.
We have seen cases kind of exploding in India.
Last year we were home bound, now even more so. Even a walk to the society park is a big no-no as of now.

That's great she has her vaccine. I'm confused. I thought it was only boys, I see that's changed, and I thought the age was 12.
I'm glad you impressed your cleaning lady. I'm glad you're safe without your masks now.

It's a rotten shame that our children have to be threatened, by this hideous virus! She's such a sweetheart! And of course, brave on top of this. You and Hubs have a beautiful Friday date night, we're doing the exact same thing! Can you believe it, a date with my own husband?

The vaccine has been around for a long time. It just had to be tweaked correctly for Covid-19. Yes, she's brave. Now we won't have to worry about her summer. Hope our grandson can get it.

we are 5 of 6 fully vaccinated in the house now. One hasn't gotten a response yet, but is calling to get on the schedule!
we had our cleaning lady return about 8 months ago. we just couldn't take the mess.
they wear masks and well, do an amazing job!

Being fully vaccinated is an awesome feeling. Now, you can get a vaccine almost anywhere it seems.
I wouldn't allow my cleaning lady in my house, even though she was fully vaccinated, wore a mask, and gloves. If my own son wouldn't come inside, there was no way I was allowing her to enter.
Our house doesn't have kids in it. lol

@rebelann I had a Bat Mitzvah, too, when I was 13. I just finished telling hubs what an immature little girl I was then. All I did was talk to friends and giggle.
It’s a ritual. Mothers, schools, Hebrew schools, and society prepare kids for womanhood. In our society, girls will be girls until whenever. lol

@DianneN Even I would have done that wearing it in public. Still too early to say that all is okay. And who knows that some covidiots might be there going unmasked and not vaccinated.
