May 14 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day.
I'm thankful for the wonderful night's sleep I got last night. It's the best night's sleep I've had in five years since I accidentally on purpose threw out my down pillows before I moved here. I thought I could get new ones only to find most pillows were down alternative. Nope, that doesn't work for me. My new down feather pillows arrived yesterday. I'm so happy. My neck didn't hurt, and I didn't have a headache from an uncomfortable night's sleep. 
I'm thankful for the great workout I had in the pool this morning. No extra time this morning, but it was still a great workout.
I'm thankful I got my laundry done right after the Y this morning. I got it done and had it put away before 9 AM.
I'm thankful for the weight that continues to drop with the new plan of attack. I might need to change the calorie intake as I'm always hungry. I'm drinking water and tea to hopefully satisfy myself. We'll see how it goes.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. I'm setting up the last major scene of the book. It will be finished soon.
I'm thankful for the walk I got earlier when I finished the notifications. Not as long as yesterday, but still a good walk.

I also use a down pillow, both Kohl’s and Marshall’s sell them here and Macy’s.

I've had a down pillow since I was a baby. I was totally upset to find they were way out of my price range when I threw it out hoping to get new ones. I'm so glad the prices have come way down again.
Thank you. It's beautiful here. No jacket necessary.

@just4him I had one when we met. Even keeping it on one side of the bed he would still stuff up and have trouble breathing.

Are you still doing a diet of mostly fruit?
I'm thankful we got a good week of work in for the first time this year and it should continue this way into June.
I'm thankful my husband bought a new desk chair. Now his back hurts less when sitting at his computer.
I'm thankful my foot hurt less yesterday and today and I'm hoping that continues until the next bandage change next Thursday. But just in case,
I'm thankful work okayed my request for FMLA so if needed I can go home early and not get points for doing so.
Umm thankful I got some weeding done and it looks like my plants all made it through any Fridays we've had recently.

@just4him I have yet to get all the weeds eliminated as they keep coming back the next year .
His chair is ergonomically designed.

I'm still eating a lot of fruit, but I found that way of doing the diet didn't help me lose, so I'm back to normal, only eating a lot fewer calories per day and tracking what I eat. That's working. I'm starting to lose daily now.
I'm glad your husband has a new chair that helps his back. Is it ergonomic?
I'm happy your work approved FMLA and your foot hurts less than it has. Soon your yard will look beautiful with all the weeds gone.

A different pillow makes all the difference in the world! With a different pillow, I sleep more sound and comfortable. I'm thankful that my home life is improving, more each day:)

Thank you. I have lots of fruit to choose from. It's what I snack on most of the time. I'm also drinking a lot of water and tea which has no calories.

I am glad you got a good workout and your laundry done. We went and gamble at the casino and won a little bit which was good and went to a seafood place for dinner. I helped at the pawn shop for four hours. So a nice busy day which I always like.

I've had a down pillow since I was a baby. It's the only pillow that works for my neck, despite what all those commercials say about their pillows. I've tried so many different ones in the past five years, and nothing helped. Now, thanks to lower prices once again on down pillows, my neck no longer hurts and I'm getting the best night's sleep I've had in years.
