My taxes are filed!

That's a relief off of my mind. My refund is not too shabby and I hope it comes in time for me to use it while visiting my dad on the other side of the country. The site I use to file my taxes each year was a little less user-friendly this year, or at least less so than I remember it. I had to get the Other Half to help me make sense of it. I requested my refund as a paper check because I didn't have my bank routing numbers handy and I wasn't sure that I wanted it as a Green Dot Visa card either. Have any of you ever made enough money on here (or other sites) that you had to declare it in your taxable income? I don't quite remember how much one would have to earn per year for that.

Yay to you! We filed a couple of months ago. Twice I had to claim my earnings from another site, but MyLot is all I do now.

MyLot is pretty much the only one I do now myself too. I don't even chase after Swagbucks anymore.

No, I haven't earned enough here in a year to file taxes on it. I'm glad you have them finished.

I think the tax law is different for every state, but since you make less than 100 a month I don't think you do. Mylot has never asked for tax information, nor do we get any tax paper work at the end of the year, that would allow us to add it to our taxable income.

@thislittlepennyearns Ah, well I know I don't make close to that. Especially on here. I'm lucky if I get 10/month, and you only need 5/month to get paid.

@kaylachan I have many websites. And it's not per site it's per type of work.

Did you get a refund as well?

It might be six hundred dollars but I don't remember either because I claim most of what I make even when it's lower than the minimum. That's mainly because I also can use expenses like new printers against the income. A paper check usually takes longer to receive. When are you visiting your dad?

I'm visiting him in early July. I just purchased our plane tickets on Wednesday, but I'm sure the check will arrive before long. I'll just use it to pay for other things later.

@MarshaMusselman May 17th, so less than a month. I'm sure it won't be much longer.

I think it is $600 which I used to hit every year at Epinions years ago but obviously never here. Good to hear you are getting a refund and don't have to pay!

It needs to be $600. I have earned much more than that on other writing sites.

I will also receive a refund but it will go directly to my bank account. What I ear online is so little that I don't need to declare it.

I just checked on the other halfs. I dont think I made enough to qualify to file personal taxes beause most of what I made last year was business. So it went to the business taxes.

Glad you got your taxes filed. I have never made that much online.
