May 18 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today I put my guardian angels to work. I think they even worked overtime.
I'm thankful for life and that I'm alive today. I almost had three car accidents today and the first near-miss would have been my fault. All this morning before 8 AM.
I'm thankful for the great workout in the pool and fitness center.
I'm thankful I could get in the workout at the Y before my 8 AM appointment at the hospital. I felt rushed but did a full workout. The hospital appointment went fast and I signed a copy of one of my books a nurse is reading. She loves it. She's reading Manifest Destiny, the second in the Colonial America series.
I'm thankful I got home early so I could eat breakfast. I was hungry by ten o'clock so, I had a little more than usual.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. It felt great.
I'm thankful the notifications are finished and I could spend time with you to see what you're up to today.
That's my day. It's time to get off the computer. I'll work on Vendetta tomorrow. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I am thankful you didn't have an accident this morning. And you got to the Y and took care of your appointment at the hospital.
I am thankful for the book I bought from the visiting missionary on Sunday, The Least of These: The Biblical Case for Missions to the Poor. It makes me even more thankful for all that I have, things that are easily taken for granted like food and shelter. Have a blessed evening.
