Normally at this time I would be writing some good news stories to this site to make your day better.
However due to some heavy thunderstorms that caused street flooding in Lake Charles, my internet service and telephone service were not in service around afternoon through this morning.
The silver lining of this event was that there was no loss of cable television and electrical power which was a relief.
The bad part of the storm was that my nephew who attends high school in Lake Charles had to be picked up by his parents in the afternoon since bus service in Lake City was at a standstill due to the flooded streets.
I can only hope that there will be no strong storms coming to my area in the next two days when some sunshine will be coming on Friday.
The funny thing is that the news reports stated that the flooding in the commercial and school areas of Lake Charles was worse than the floods caused by hurricanes Laura and Delta in 2020.
I just hope and pray that the weather reports of many more hurricanes in the Atlantic region will stay away from the mainland U S in 2021.

That is true since I am concerned about hurricanes and floods this summer.

Sometimes real life comes first, and you do what you have to. At least power is restored to your services and they are up and running today.

Thank goodness the cable company that suffered severe damage from the hurricanes which caused delays in restoring internet service last year did not happen this time.

I remember the damage that Sandy did to your state. It was bad news.
