Saving a penny is still the best way :)

Good day fellow mylotters, as the saying goes, it doesn't matter how big is your earnings, thus, what really matter is, how do you save out from your earnings. Well, I have seen a lot of people who receives tremendous salary but it seems they are still drowning into debts. And especially now, a lot of companies closed down due to the current economic situation, people who used to work and received high salary before end up nothing at their hand. Hence, it looks like, the old saying is still the best way to do.

I used to think the same thing, but then I learned to pay myself first. Next time you get paid, just try putting 10% of your pay into a savings account and don't touch it. The other 90% is what you've got to live on till the next pay day. I bet you'll find it easier than you think to live on that 90%.

Too true. I used to work for a bank years ago, and I was always talking to people who earned more money than me but still managed to end up flat broke and in debt. It's not how much money you earn that counts, but how much you keep.
