Fact: How to Quit Smoking

In Turkey, a man decided to put his head in the cage. The main goal is to quit puffing cigarettes. Believe it or not, it is a real fact. Based on what I read, the cage can only be opened if it's time to eat his meal. I am sure it is hard to quit smoking abruptly and needs to gradually decrease the number of cigarette sticks before finally free from doing it.
Are there any ways to stop smoking?
What is your take on this?

You can stop.smoking if you have the will to do it
I used to smoke when I was younger, so.with.my brother. We didn't have a hard time quitting.

Oh stop smoking with cage , this may work to some extent , but it really depends upon persons mind , he should make up his mind that he don't want to smoke any more , otherwise no use

Good thing I never develop that habit of smoking when I was young. I was pretty much attracted to seeing someone smoking back in those days but as I grew up I learned about the bad side of smoking which is why I never pursued learning that anymore. I feel sad that this man has to do it just to control his urge to smoke. I hope his contraption would work for him as it just is too uncomfortable putting that all day.

I think it is too much. I`m not a smoker. I don`t know how a person can make themselves stop smoking

@Shavkat I think this will not help because a change should start from themselves. My husband quit smoking long time before because he wanted to stop and he did it

I know it's difficult to stop addiction. Maybe he can quit little by little no need for a cage

Stopping a habit start from the mind ,so using a cage may not really work if ur mind is not fix to stop that habbit it can't stop
