I just enjoy sharing these kinds of stories where young animals like in this case there were two kittens who were stuck inside of a storm sewer in Gluckstadt Mississippi on Wednesday. Thanks to a concerned female who was walking her dog in the streets of Gluckstadt, she passed by a sewer where she heard the cries of two kittens who could not climb out of the sewer after they fell down into the bottom of the storm drain. The concerned female contacted Elizabeth Johnson who is a member of the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) in Mississippi who took action by coming to the scene of the incident. The members of the ARF did what they could to open up the manhole cover where they saw the two kittens who were wet and hungry waiting to be rescued. The members of the ARF asked a neighbor who granted them their request to loan them a 12 foot ladder so the members of the rescue team could get the kittens out of the sewer and into safety when Elizabeth climbed down the ladder to rescue them. The two kittens were given water, food and a dry towel to make them feel better. The members of the ARF most likely will take the kittens to an animal shelter to put them up for adoption by a loving family in the near future. In my view the kittens fell into the bottom of the storm drain during a thunderstorm that passed recently through the state.

You are right since the lady did the right thing by calling the authorities to get some help for the kittens to be rescued.
