Songs in My Head - 5/23/21

I'm not a jazz fan by any stretch of the imagination; but I love today's song in my head which is "Take Five" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet and is a real blast from the past.
Dave Brubeck was an American jazz pianist and composer who was born in 1920 and passed away in 2012.
"Take Five" was on the "Time Out" album which was released in 1959. In 1961, "Take Five" was released as a single, became a surprise hit and the best-selling jazz single ever!

Mike likes Dave Brubeck music. Lately Aretha Franklin has been singing in my head thanks to @FourWalls and her May Motown countdown.

@DocAndersen You aren't going to believe this; but when I was trying to think of the Jeopardy theme, the theme from I Dream of Jeannie popped into my head. Ahhhhhhh!

Mention Brubeck and Donal Fagen’s “New Frontier” pops into my head (“I hear you’re mad about Brubeck, I like your eyes and I like him too, he’s an artist, a pioneer”).
