Morning, Its Friday here
have you ever done antigen swab?
Tuesday night when I came home from my Sister the local police and health service in my area stopped vehicles passing on the highway to do random sampling using the antigen swab method, and my husband who had his sample taken he said he felt a little pain when the test equipment entered to the bottom of the hole nose, luckily the clerk inserted it slowly and it was fine.
after 15 minutes a negative result appeared which made me very relieved, and after that we were able to continue our journey.
Enjoy your day

That sounds a bit invasive, don't you think? Why were they doing that?

@ladyhero That's not exactly a good thing. And, no. Here in the U.S. you can get tested (and they offer mobile testing) but you need to ask for it, or get authorazatition from a doctor. We don't stop people at random, and test them for the sake of testing them.

@kaylachan In my opinion, even without authorazatition from a doctor, to break the chain of distribution this is quite effective to do

they do this because they want to anticipate if there are residents who have contracted the corona, because the local government in my city claims that there are no residents affected by the corona, so they are very careful about it, how about your place?

@ladyhero it's the same as antigen swab but we don't apprehend motorists along the road.

@florelway oh so it would be safer not to do it on the street, it's just that the method is at certain hours of the local government doing this, for motorists both traveling within the city and outside the city for business

I have heard of it. Some people want to have it at international airports because they would know very quickly if the incoming passengers have the virus.

@ladyhero A good idea because the results come quickly.

@marguicha That's right, and make sure the test kit is new, that is, the one that comes out of the plastic wrapper, because there are people who recycle the test kits so that there is a "false postive"

Yes, I took the test twice. Both times it came back negative.
My daughter and I have both been vaccinated now. I hope you get your vaccination soon.
