I watched this on Amazon Prime Video as I have a few days left of the service before they charge me, and I wanted to make the most of it.
I came across this title yesterday when I was scrolling through. It is an M. Night Shyamalan film that came out in 2008. Mark Wahlberg stars as a science teacher. We're introduced to him a few minutes into the movie, after witnessing a strange event that happens in Central Park.
He stands in front of the classroom and asks his students one important question. "Why are bees disappearing?"
I won't go into too much detail for those who may want to watch it. I will say that I enjoyed the movie immensely, though this theme isn't necessarily my favorite. It's categorized under Sci Fi and revolves around a "what if" scenario.

I saw the movie quite a while ago, but don't remember too much about it. I wasn't sure what I thought about it when I did watch it I believe though

I have seen it, have seen all of Shyamalans movies.
I loved it.
Glad you got to see it.
Not sure if you would like this one..called I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives in the House...freaking awesome movie.

I saw that title listed and considered it. To me it looked like another apocalyptical film where the guy has to rescue his family, which are not bad films..but have seen alot of them. I might watch it though. Glad you endorsed it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will put it in on my to watch list. I started watching Unbreakable on Prime, which I will finish but went off to another movie to watch first..Wind River on IMBD, which I didn't realize I had seen before..it's a good one though. I think I remember the ending but not certain. I think the characters are pretty realistic, as far as I know. I mean what do I know about life in the West on an Indian reservation?

It IS like that, but it's a bit different as well. I think it's worth at least watching the first twenty minutes to see if you'd like it.

@snowy22315 I just looked it up, it sounds promising.
I always wonder just how much research a movie studio does before they release such movies. I'm sure they took a lot of creative liberties just for the sake of audience interest.
I have 9 more days in my trial, so I need to get to watching.

I have never heard of this movie, Thank you for sharing, The thing that would interest me about this movie would be that it shows Central Park NYC is my hometown and I miss it so I like to see movies filmed there

They show the park for maybe two or three minutes. It's still nice that they showcase it, and a park in Philadelphia I've never heard of.

That's one of my husband's favorite movies. It's not along the same lines; but have you seen Hide and Seek with Robert De Niro? I really like it.

I want to say I saw that as I was scrolling through amazon, but I just looked at the preview and it doesn't seem familiar. It's a type of movie I occasionally like, but am not sure I'm in the mood for it now.
