Thanks to the actions of Sandy Springs Police Officers who answered the call to rescue Angel Ramirez-Arrieta who was driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his auto in the streets of city on Friday evening. The Sandy Springs police officers worked a team to get Angel out of the auto which was on fire due to the impact of the crash by putting out the fire quickly before it would have exploded. The police officers were able to get Angel out of the auto safely before he would have severely injured or killed since Angel was trapped inside of the auto and was knocked out cold from the impact of the single auto accident. The sad part of this story is that Angel was arrested by the police at the scene of the accident since an investigation by the authorities showed that he was drunk when the accident happened around 2am on Friday. I am sure that Angel will think twice before driving an auto after he had too many drinks of alcohol since he is lucky to be alive and he will most likely be punished by the fullest extent of the law. I am impressed by the teamwork of the police officers who should earn some kind of reward for saving a life of a human being in their community.

Depends on if he's a first time offender or multible offender. He's lucky to walk away from the crash, too.

You are right about the number of offenses since he is a young man about 20 years of age,

@Deepizzaguy Yeah. Chances are it's on the low end, but you can start driving legally at age 16 so I'd still be slightly concerned.

He most certainly is lucky to be alive. I'm glad he was rescued; but the accident could have been avoided if Angel did not drink and drive.

I agree with you about the part that Angel had no business driving while drunk since the consequences can be fatal.

Sad to know that people drink and drive and ultimately risking their and others life. Appreciation to police team that they were able to save him.

Some people think that they are the second coming of the Invincible Iron Man or Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.
