This is the first time I know that there is Taro Ice cream. I know some use Taro for some tea drinks. But this is my first encounter with taro as ice cream. And it is not that bad. It is actually very creamy, it is like eating purple yam ice cream less the purple color. Ice cream is really refreshing to beat the summer heat. What is you favorite flavor of ice cream?

I am totally unaware of Taro. My favourite is the natural ones with litchi, custard apple and jackfruit flavour. I love it when I get those real pieces of fruits in them

@rakski Jackfruit flavour is not so common. We have a brand here that is into natural icecream with seasonal fruits. We get all the fresh seasonal fruit varieties from them. Their ice cream is way too good but we have to consume them within 48 hours as it uses fresh fruits and no preservatives

@rakski I grow taro as a houseplant. I tried cooking some a couple of times. I didn't like the way it tasted. I've never liked the way yams tasted. We buy two liter cartons of Salted Caramel ice cream once in a while. We don't buy it often because we eat the whole carton in one sitting.
