Happy Memorial Day to those celebrating here in the USA and to all others I wish you a happy Monday.
Many people in the US see Memorial Day as sort of the "start" of summer and celebrate the long weekend with cookouts, barbeques, camping, going to "the lake", fishing, and the like. However, Memorial Day was initially called "Decoration Day" and was (originally) to pay respects to the fallen soldiers in the US. Civil War (1861-1865). So- important to remember and enjoy.
What has your weekend included? Friday - momma , myself and some friends went to a restaurant (wow!) to celebrate a friend's birthday, Saturday I went to a barbeque and a movie ("Cruella") with a friend, Sunday I had another friend come over, and today Momma and I are going to a friend's cookout. A fun and active weekend. I hope yours is nice as well

Well, we mowed the front yard and worked on our flower bed in front of the house.

@FayeHazel I pulled it up and put it in queue on my pc but haven't watched it yet.
The front looks good but the back is still too wet to mow.

It exceeded expectations actually -- and the costuming was brilliant

I expect it'll be slow today because the weather is perfect for outdoor activity. Now that people realize the outdoors isn't a dangerous place. Have a good day. Hope you enjoy it.
