Neil Young Top Ten: Too Lonely (#10)

Well.....not everybody likes Abba. And not everybody likes Neil Young, either. I really do have both on my iPod. (With over 8,600 songs there’s plenty of room for both, along with all the Hank Williams I can stand [note I said that I can stand....some people can’t stand any Hank Williams! 
]) In the interest of keeping myLot a happy land I want to balance out the Abba countdown for those who aren’t as enthralled with them as others. And so.....here’s Neil Young!
#10: Too Lonely
Of course, the “thing” with Neil is doing a countdown of his stuff encompasses about 40 million different names on the record label. This countdown will include most of them.
In this case, it’s Neil with his rocking backing band, Crazy Horse. I used this earlier on my “lonely” countdown, and it’s returning here. Why? Because it’s a darn good rocker, that’s why!! Although Young can give us ten-minute tunes (“Cortez the Killer,” “Down By the River”), he proves here that good rock is simple and sweet.
