I didn't make them, they were frozen, from Trader Joe's. Anyway they were good, but it wasn't enough food. I was hungry and tired most of the day. Next time I'll bring more food to work.

What exactly are tamales? Any specific recipes to make them?

I don't know how to make them, but they are a sort of corn bread or cake with a meat filling. And of course, flavored and spiced. They are very good.

How are the Trader Joe ones . . . what filling was it? Two tamales probably wouldn't fill me either . . . I'd probably balance that out with salad and a cilantro lime dressing !

They are really good. Almost as good as home-made. It was a beef filling.

I am quite fond of tamales. I love the mushy texture.
