I come to work today and her dad starts. It's a man child tabtruming. i don't even know what I did or didn't do frankly. I'm assuming because I didn't answer the phone when he expected it. Its his time and place not others. He like the old boss was. So I do everything (it doesn't move unless I move it literally). I come in do my usual stock, rotate, garbage. He kept following me around or watching over my shoulder as I do stuff. He starts claiming I'm selling cigarettes cheap than they are. As a customer complained she paid less. I said I haven't sold these cigarettes (which were new). It's always the lady during the day and then he blames me. It all started when someone hit ny car and I said it's a few thousand dollars damage. I need video footage for insurance purposes. Today he spent hours whining to everyone how I underchsrge people which I don't or how things I do like stocking. he's one of those only care about himself and he the top one. I finally said if you clearly nitpicking and whining what I do then I'll just start looking for a new job. Because I'm tired of it. I swear this man has dementia he's either really nice one moment or mean the next, makes stories up and then blames others. They won't leave him alone so I'm starting to think he does.

That's more bipolor behavior, not dementia. Second of all, some bosses are like that. So you need to set personal bounderies for yourself. Because no matter where you work, you'll have that one co-worker, that gets on your last nerve. If you truely can't handle this job, look for another, but don't put your two weeks in until you've starded the new job.

You could be right with bipolar. He is almost 80 years old. But yesterday he was making racial comments infront of customers. He hasn't been like this until the last couple weeks. I ignores a few comments but overall he was screaming and throwing things. He was screaming at the pizza boy as well who's 16. They just sort of ignore him. They can't keep employees they all leave. The owner herself is very nice but her dad comes in with her ordering her around (just lately). It's odd. I'm staying for now because I get overtime and during a pandemic it's hard to find work. But if his behavior gets worse I will have too .
