During my 3 week stay in the mainland I think my relationship with my boyfriend grew deeper. Now I found myself booking another plane trip to see him in the beginning of the month. It's expensive to do long distance but I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to risk it and see how far we can make it.
We have also started to save up for future plans. We are doing 200£ per person per month in a joint vault. I feel excited with this progress!

@Nevena83 I have been hurt before too. I had long distance with my ex and well it did not work out. But I believe this time I can do better. Although I only can control myself and hope that my boyfriend now decides to stick with me too. If not, I hope I have the courage to accept if it does not work out.

Thank you Carol. At the moment I am really happy and inspired. I hope it works out although I am also open to the fact that it might not. I am at least willing to risk and try and make it work.

Yeah it is a big step indeed. So I hope it works out. He wouldn't suggest it if it's not his intent to work hard on it.

Not house yet it's for travel. He said we will start saving for house january 2022. We give our relationship more time to grow.

Well I don't feel comfortable asking him to spend for the trip as when he visits he'd use his own money. Also everytime we go on weekend trips and holidays he pays for the hotels and stuff. I want to be treated as an equal. And also prevent Asian stereotypes.

In long-distance relationships, you can probably see the way love works ... I've heard that it's not "him" you love, so much as "the person you become for him (when he's near, yes; but also when he's far away, like you're his representative)."
Maybe that's why we say the Christian Church is 'The Bride of Christ'---we try to make the church good for Him.

I absolutely like how you put it Uncle Jay. I was in a long term long distance relationship before which did not end up very well as I became the worst version of myself with that person. But with my current relationship I feel like he makes me want to be better. And he made me believe that love is worth another try.
