What we ate: May 30th to June 5th

I used to write posts every single night about what we had for dinner that night. But my life/our family is way too busy for me to consistently do that. Soooo, I'm gonna try to do these end of week wrap ups, where I write one post about what we ate the previous week. So without further ado, here is what we ate this week. Sunday night we had sausage biscuits. I had previously made a ton of homemade biscuit dough, and portioned them out into biscuits and froze them. I whipped some out, baked them and fried some pattied out sausage. Quick, easy and filling. This is a family favorite. Monday, we took the day off work. The other half wasn't feeling great, so we just hung out at home and I let him rest, she child was with grandma and I think he child was still at a friends house, so it was another easy dinner night. Breakfast for dinner is one of the other half's favorite things in the world. So I made wildberry muffins and made some bacon to go with them. Tuesday, I put a little more effort into dinner. I made pizza roll ups. I do this with crescent roll dough, shredded cheese and pepperoni slices. He child was home after going to a movie with his girlfriend and he loves any version of pizza, especially when I make it. So it was a hit. Wednesday was a LONG day. We were painting at my grandma in laws house and it was a much bigger job than we had originally thought. Because of that, we left early and got home late. So it was a pizza night. I threw a couple combo party pizzas in the oven and called it a night. Thursday it was hot, and I didn't want to cook, so we went to Arbys. Friday was a fun day. We took he child up to grandma's and picked up she child. Then we stopped by grandma in laws house before loading up with she child and driving out to Panama City Beach. We had a lot of fun. We took she child to the arcade and the beach and stopped at several places in between. I made chicken roll ups for the other half and I. She child had a corn dog, chocolate pudding and cheese puffs. Chicken roll ups are similar to the pizza roll ups I made earlier in the week. I make italian chicken, and then roll it and cheese up in crescent rolls. Saturday (today) as you know if you ready my previous post was a busy day and we had friends over all day. The girls wanted pizza, so I made two pizzas, a cheese one and a pepperoni, and bacon one. After that we made cupcakes. So it was a pretty delicious night. So that's what dinners look like at our house this week. What did you do for your nightly meals this past week? Any new recipes? Old favorites?

Nice weekly selections! I’m still drooling over the cornballs! Not much time for cooking this week. My life has been nuts! Just decided to order pizza and have the ribeye tomorrow.
