Today was our weekly shopping adventure. It was in the mid-to-high '80's today, but the cloudy skies and breeze felt nice. My husband and I made good time and accomplished everything on our to-do list. All for a couple of things. I wanted to buy a travel mug for my daily Pokemon go games, and we had to hunt down gas.
And, hold those pitch forks and tin foil hats people... there is no gas shortage. The place we like to go, was out because it so-happens to be the cheepest in town.
The cats have taken to the summer heat by selecting a bedroom and making themselves at home. Last night I did the bedding, and sprinted around the house to keep Chilly out of the room for the ten minutes it'd take to get it done. Tried to put him in one of the other rooms, but he didn't like that idea. So I got a workout I didn't want. All in all I think we were successful, though. Bed is done, groceries and laundry done....

No such thing as cheapest gas here Kayla

In the U.S. we're very competive. So no two places charge the same for anything, unless they are forced to. I don't know why gas is that high where you're living. But, I'm glad I don't live around Disney where the prices would be close to that or higher.

You would think after all.the Lockdowns and travel bans that they might actually reduce the price to encourage people to travel.a bit more and use more gas

I know, and it's not really even "summer" yet. And, this isn't the worst of it. Our hottest months typically are August and Setember.

Yep. Have a lot of hand washing to do of dishes, but I'll wait until today's stash is inside and get it all done.

It is. But, the place we go has the lowest prices in town so everyone and their mother go there. So he runs out quickly.

Cat know how to stay cool and keep comfortable, I am working in my workroom with the A/C going so my laptop does not overheat, You do have to admit we could use a good heavy downpour but it just does not seem to be happening,

I plan to go out in a little bit, so I'm grateful it's not. However, I agree. AC's going so I can breathe. I also have fans going, too. And I still must put it in sleep mode to keep it from overheating if I'm going to be gone away from it for more than a few minutes.

Your got a lot done. That always feels good.
Our gas jumped thirty cents today but I have a full tank so I'm good.
We got a job done this morning although it was a bit to hot to work. I've been putting more unused things into boxes until our kitchen is finished.

It was in the low 80s today, and my stepson turned on a space heater in his room!
