It is 5:39, I am up early. But I hear the sound if thunder in the distance. Now, again rain drops are falling. zi can't remember a time that we have had rain, and thunderstorms the time of hurricane season. Pretty soon, I'll have to venture out. I want to visit my husband, good thing he has a phone so we can communicate..He will understand about the roads. I am so glad the people on the lie side have moved, it rained so one time they had to be rescued by boat. Well, nearly six now, I'll go back to bed. You all have s nice day.

Hopefully your got rain that was needed but not too much. My husband woke me this morning before my alarm thinking I had my appt in fifteen minutes but I actually had another hour to go.

No thunder in western Oregon, we seldom ever hear any, but clouds are stacked up all around and rain will come tomorrow, I hear. I also heard there are triple digit temps from Texas to North Dakota. I'll take the rain.

@popciclecold I can't even imagine what it must be like to be in such horrible and scary weather. We have recently had a really good thunderstorm. It was amazing. We rarely have good ones these days. (these days it's normally one or two rolls of thunder and that's it - boring).

@popciclecold Poor cats. My cat does the same thing. She becomes very unsettled and goes from moving quickly around the house with her back very low to hiding in multiple spots. Makes me feel bad.
