Still work from home

I went to the office, trying to learn something from my new job but I wasn't allowed to go in. The security said my name wasn't in the list. I told them I was going to print some documents. I was given 10 minutes entry by the security. I didn't need to print anything. I spend more than half an hour to drive there. So I went in, greeted my colleagues, print random documents and then said goodbye. They were like, 'So fast?' Yeah, better leave before someone come to kick me out. I went to buy boneless chicken for the kittens and went straight home. I still got tasks to do at home anyway.

@prinzcy It means that you have not been allotted any critical work in your office?

we have the same rules at work, if you aren't on the list you can't get in. That is changing in July.

I work from home after the pandemic. I only go to the office when it is necessary.

Huh, that is interesting most people here do not want to go back to the office, me included. I can get more work done from home, but it nice to see the good people. It is bad to see the bad people. I would rather work from home just for that and I also get more done. Less distractions because this country it so at odds with each other anyway. It does come into the work place too. 2024 I think will tell if democracy is here to stay and I would not be surprised if it is not.

I would rather work from home. But I'm new at my job so I don't know what I can do at home. Well, just work leisurely then. No problem.

@prinzcy Fair point when new you just have to go with the flow that is actually another reason companies so fire happy these days. Agree miss lady or they will fire you or just have a talent no one can do which is rare.

You mean you have the option to work from home or the one who are not on the list are automatically to work from home?

We have option to work from home. But not much to do when I don't know what to do. Plus, new environment require training, which I don't have. Well, not my fault. I'll just work leisurely doing what I can.

Gosh! You drive all the way to your working place for half an hour only to work for 10 minutes. That is a little bit hard. Good thing you have a car to drive. Otherwise it will be a waste of time and effort.

It was to be given to more important tasks in the factory. We're only allowed 10% of attendances after all. So they're using the slots the best they can.

So you've been at this new job already that you knew who your Co workers were? No point in getting into trouble with security.

@MarshaMusselman because the others are more experienced in the field. So they can do the works by themselves.

@prinzcy so you've worked a little already in the office but they didn't get you on the list with security? That seems a bit odd.
