We have a tree that yield tart cherries profusely Most do not like to eat the as they are very sour I did make wine and juice but this can only be done in dry weather Now it is rainly heavily and the cherries are filled with water. They are just meant for the compost pits.
Do you have any idea how to make use of these cherries?

You can cook them down for jam.
They are good for breads and muffins too. The tartness will remain but sweetened, they are still good for many things.

You remove the seeds and leave the skins.

Nope not aware but I guess you can use them in making some sour sauce with it but don't know if it'll be useful or not

Sauce seems a good idea just like tomato sauce. These cherries are small and so removing skin and seed could be quaite a task

Mom used to work up tart cherries and cook them in a pie. I'm sure you can find a good pie recipe online using tart cherries.

I have a friend that loves those. You could maybe make some jelly or a pie.
