Sunshine Sunday and Blue Sunday for the Tigers!

So far today we have had beautiful blue skies. It is hot with a high of 91 so far today with a feels like temperature of 104/! It is very humid too. We were supposed to get a thunderstorm this afternoon but that hasn't happened. It would be nice though just to cool us down a few degrees.
I had planned on going to the flea market after lunch today but those plans were changed also. I found out that our baseball game started at 3 pm and not 6 pm like I thought. So I stayed home to watch the game. It started out to be a great game with momentum going on both sides. However, the pitching for LSU has not been up to par. Instead of putting our best pitcher in during the 5th or 6th inning to make a difference and stay in the game, this pitcher did not get called to the mound until the 9th inning where it was impossible to catch up the multiple runs we needed. Sad, sad game.

Who were the Tigers playing against? Since the Gators have been eliminated, I need to root for the SEC teams.

@DocAndersen Well when it is the game you have to win to go on to Omaha there is no reason to save the best pitcher, right?

Yes, I'm hoping we get into the normal summer afternoon hit or miss thunderstorms that don't last all day. That's okay and welcome to take the temps down a bit. It was bad today. They say Wednesday is going to be really hot with temps at 95 or higher.
