It was terribly hot here yesterday & hopefully tonight or tomorrow we will get Thunderstorms which will freshen up the air!

@DocAndersen I was sure it was Foehn, when I opened the door I felt the hot air on my face, like approaching the face to an oven.

Was beautiful yesterday. Today, it's cloud cover, so blocked the hot Sun, with light breezes. Tomorrow onward, expecting rain, as forecasted, good we're in a drought. But I'd like to recycle my cans and go to Foodland Supermarket, Senior Citizen discount day, Thursday... hope I get sunny day where I live.

In North Carolina yesterday it was HOT! It gets very hot down here in the summer times! Then the occasional pop up storm. It never actually rained last night but we were watching the lightening. There was no thunder so it is probably safe to say it was only heat lightening.

@DocAndersen You can never be certain what our weather is going to be from day to day 
In the morning time the breeze feels nice and soothing, but by time 10 or so you can feel the heat begin fairly quickly! In winter you never know if you need shorts or a jacket
