Today's a quiet summer evening with a breeze. On my way in after picking up some snacks. Just had to have fig Newton's. Today went fairly smoothly as I worked on the yard. But the guy whose working wanted 10.00 more. Is 13.00 an hour to trim bamboo poles fair? 40.00 for three hours with one hour of lunch breaks included? And I'm paying for the breaks

We do not pay for the breaks but we have to pay a minimum of 20 an hour for gardening work.

This is the price I've been paying but now it is getting costly

@db20747 Some gardeners ask a lot more for very simple jobs. I usually try to reach an agreement, how much for the day to have everything done and finished?

three hours of work with a paid lunch break? Seems a little crazy! I usually do my own yard work. When I have hired people to do special services, I get a contract that lists a price and what they are doing. However long they do it, that's on them! if they do a great job and are nice, I like to add a tip as a thank you.

This is a good idea. I've been paying as I go as I get money

Seems a bit steep, and you should not pay for breaks.

It's not fair to charge for a break when he is already charging so much
