I pay my good friend 13.00 an hour to help cut up bamboo in the yard. She usually does two hours of work when she comes over. But I paid the guy Charles 20.00 per hour. He cuts down the bamboo and has to pull the old bamboo out from under the new bamboo. I try to explain that his job is a little more dangerous. Should T make the same thing as Charles?!

Dangerous work should be paid better. No matter who does it.

This is true. He has to go out where there might be snakes. If she did this she would get 20.00 per hour!

The guy goes where there could be snakes, that's more dangerous. But if she goes out there she would make 20.00 too

Yes, she should. Equal pay for the same kind of work. That's important.

No. The more hazardous work deserves a higher rate of pay.
