They're moving...

The other day, Angel alerted me to people outside. When I looked, two guys appeared to be moving boxes. I wondered if the people upstairs (who I've met and talked to a few times but we've never formally introduced ourselves) were getting new furniture, or moving. Today I ran into the guy, who thanked me for putting their cat's toy on my patio wall where they could find it (I found it while outside and put it there not knowing if it was a child's toy or ? It was a little teenie beanie squirrel from the look of it). I asked if he had gotten new furniture, and he said, "No, we're moving." I don't know how the subject came up, but he started listing all the stuff they were getting rid of (they left bags of food marked "FREE" by the bike rack in front of our apartments) and he mentioned they were getting rid of a Swiffer. Me: " A Swiffer?" (I'd been thinking of getting one). Him: "Yeah, it's got the liquid and everything." Later I found said Swiffer outside my door. Bummer they're moving. I didn't get to know them very well, but they seemed nice when I did talk to them. For a while, I guess, I won't hear anyone walking above me. I hope that my new neighbors are nice too--and that I get to know them a bit better.
