After my package tour of the US a few years ago I spent a couple of weeks with my niece in New Jersey. We both decided to visit Canada - I had thankfully got a visa for Canada. She hired a car and I was so proud of her how she went around Canada after a flight from the US. We stayed in a hotel close to the Niagara Falls. I had seen the Falls from the American side but they both looked different After a day time view we both decided to see it in the night as it was walking distance. Wow what a view it was. This photo says it all but it is not my photo

Niagara Falls is beautiful. You know you weren't supposed to put food coloring into the water, right?

Supposed to be psychedelic lighting. Picked it from the Net and have given due credit. But what we saw was not food colouring but real lighting

@DaddyEvil But who knows there could be a possibility that food colouring could have been poured in Niagara Falls

The Canadian side of the Niagara Falls is much nicer than the American one. Lovely shot!

That's a lovely picture. So colorful and lively. I have seen the falls from both sides and they look different. I didn't see the colourful one from Canada side but yes saw it from US side. It looks lovely in the dark with those light play.

Yes been there too but I was on the US side which is why the view is not that good as compared with Canada where the falls are facing it. I have fond memories of that trip there. It was not peak season as it was early spring and the weather is just very cold so fewer people are visiting that place.

The Canadian side is a better view. And you can tell most tourists visit the Canadian side - the Canadian town is very fancy with big hotels and smart buildings; the American side is run-down looking and grim.
