Mom’s Second of Two Appointments (Last Week).

I meant to share this last week, but I didn’t have the chance to do so. So my Mom had her second of two appointments this past Friday, and it was with our primary care doctor. Our doctor isn’t 100% convinced her hiatal hernia is causing her problems. However, he agrees that it’s time to get it taken care of. For one, a hiatal hernia needs to be taken care of, and two, it’ll give us more answers. If it’s causing the issue, then we’ll know and it’ll be repaired. If it’s not causing the issue, then it’s a process of elimination (and it'll still be repaired). So my younger sister is going to make the appointment with her surgeon this week (as she’s Mom’s usual mode of transportation), if she hasn’t already. The next step is to schedule the surgery, and then schedule the stress test for closer to the date. We’ll all be glad when this is behind us. Personally, I don’t like that my Mom has to get surgery. But it’s the only way to repair a hernia so there’s not really a choice in the matter at this point. Sooo, please keep up in your thoughts and prayers, or send good vibes?
