Cats or dogs

Well , Cats and dogs both domestic pets so , but i feel there behavior is totally difference ,
In my younger ages i have both cats and dogs , not both together , Some time periods with cats only , some time periods with dogs only , Still i cant if both cat and dog together live in a house , how we are going to teach how to cat and dog live friendly ? Have any experience of that ?
Another thing is that they cats are not like social while dogs are really friendly ,
How about you dog or cat lover ? what are the differences of them you are most notice ?

I love both cats and dogs but can`t take care of them now because my husband don`t like it

There was a time when I had both a cat and a dog. They got along great. In fact, the cat was my dog's pet. She would kiss him awake in the morning, and the two got along great all day.

No I don't have any experience but I have seen people having both and both stay friendly with each other
