It did not cool down very much over night. I got up around 4:30 a.m.
In the distance you could see the clouds glow periodically. Lightning was somewhere off and away.
I heard just a low rumble, not a loud sound at all, and then there was rain. It only lasted a few minutes.
Today is going to be very hot, and now it will be humid as well with this sprinkling of rain. It is very obviously summer in Kansas.

@GardenGerty we had a very big electrical storm this afternoon with blinding lightning and booming thunder and I prayed that the electric and Internet would stay on, Then just as quickly it stopped and the sun came out,

I thought we might have had a thunderstorm on Tuesday, as I saw some thunder clouds forming, but it cleared up. Guess they moved over to your playground.
