Planning on going to an Asian bistro tonight for my dad's birthday

Today is my dad's birthday so we are thinking of going out for dinner tonight to celebrate. I thought of going to an Italian restaurant but my mom said she doesn't want Italian. I told her about an Asian bistro place hubby and I went to before and she agreed to that. We are planning to go for a 7:30 pm dinner. It's supposed to be just my parents and hubby and I.
Though today is hubby's 9 to 5 day, he doesn't know when he will end work, especially since his earlier appointment has not shown up yet. That may mean that it will end being just my parents and I. 
I hope though, that he will be able to make it to the restaurant after all, even if a little late.

Yes. It would be nice if he could make it and even get there on time. I wonder why when I call the restaurant that I get a message that this is not a working number. I wanted to call to see what time they close today. That info is online but as today is a heatwave maybe they decided to close early. I don't know.

I tried to call the restaurant to see when they close today and maybe even make a reservation just in case. I get a message that it is not a working number.

He was held up by a while and then when he was finally done he had to go home and change so he came to the restaurant late.
