Music You've Probably Never Heard #5

This next one up is a bit of obscure band in that it is hard to find much information about them. I even tried to pull up a YouTube video of the song for this installment in the series, but I could not find one. This band, and their style, reminds me of another band (much more noted) called Modest Mouse. This song would certainly be in that slant. Apparently the band is Swedish who formed in 2008. The last information I can find on them is back in 2010, so I have no idea if the band is even still together. Either way, the song, Girl and Boy is definitely what I would consider "quirky." This may not be to everyone's taste. But it is DEFINITELY also probably very much music you've probably never heard before. The band is called Kate And After.

@RubyHawk Sorry to hear that. I am a big fan of it even though when I drive if I have the radio on I mostly listen to talk radio more than anything.

Well it's definitely not the usual kind of song you hear these days and it is a bit "quirky" but song is a song. The music in the other hand is pretty good and the singer has a good voice but as I said not usual singing.

It is definitely in the category of "different." But I like different. I don't think it is any secret that I often sing to a different tune. lol

Never heard of them before. Quirky can be a good genre at times.

Do bands this days make money through music? According to the way I know , some bands end up falling apart and discontinue each other from doing music together. But if you are a serious team with a target goal in music then having a band is better because most of the time you do team work and there is less pressure compared to solo musician

Oh yeah. They still get paid. It's part of the deal. I get paid for my music as well that's out there. They can't take that away from me so long as someone else is making money from my efforts.

Thanks. I always have had quite a broad taste in music. I like the stuff that's not regularly played on the radio.
