Hooliganism is an actuation abhorrent, being a juvenile is no excuse.
This report shows a behavior unbecoming of an Englishman. Why? Because the English has always displayed a pomp and pageantry of discipline and dignity.
This rowdiness on the part of the soccer fans is not in congruence at all of a gentleman.
My opinion. What do you think?
After losing the Euro final to Italy, England fans unleashed a wave of abuse at their own players. They attacked Italian fans and damaged public property. #...

Being British myself does not make me accept their behaviour in what they did.
I lived in a town that every time they played home there were always knifings and bullying you name it was there and us girls were right in the middle of it afraid to go out of the workplace until the problems had passed.
We used to go and catch the bus two or three of us together safety in numbers.
It can be quite unnerving to work right near a Football Stadium.
A few of the younger players in the English team took their medals and put them on they did at least show some respect which is what its all about.
Also have to say that the Spanish can behave as badly too given the chance.

Soccer is the only sport that could create a spectacle of cheering and jeering fans - in a World Cup proportion. All in the name of a good game the fans rejoice or grimace over a goal.
Nowhere in the name of the game does it say fans could wreak mayhem in the aftermath of a game lost.
The British did set the standard of proper conduct. What accounts for the puzzling ill behavior over a game skips me.
Glad you and your friends were not harmed during one of those crazy times.

@lovinangelsinstead21 An egregious behavior of a nurse to take it on you by virtue of you being English. Nobody should lash out randomly over an incident you were not even knowledgeable about.
But it is kind of you to consider forgiving her.
It was an ill-fated event.

You know what ruffled me the most is that everyone considers her some kind of Saint and I know that she is not.
If that would have been me I would have said I was sorry not that I would have ever got to kind of behaviour.
Still no one believes me but now I do not give a fig.
I was there downstairs cleaning the doorway of the main entrance and on top of that she came up behind me the back of me while I was mopping the floor.
Even if I had known about it all does not give her the right and to be so cowardly as well grabbing me by the scruff of my neck.
Yes that is the place where it took place exactly.
Here in this country they have a latent dislike of the British maybe it comes from the Spansh Armada thing.
Happy for me and enduring the Jane Eyre kind of school i went to that we were kids of honesty and integrity no being big headed and full of pride and scorn.
Thank you for the link as well like I say even if had known that does not mean that I am the same as the ones that were involved in all that.
I said to her full in her face you call me an animal look at yourself first and she backed off I think that I quite shocked her I let my British reserve down just for once.

I have seen a video of hooligans kicking and punching Italian fans. Those hooligans are a minority, someone should stop them, they are giving a very bad image of their country. The racist comments about the three black football players who missed are unacceptable.

Untoward and unacceptable.
Definitely a very bad image for the United Kingdom.

@LadyDuck That could be done especially if the ill remarks were done via internet. Verbal assault is tantamount to threat on the physical being.

Condemnation came from all walks of life. Let's see what the government will do.

Not exactly. The gnashing was premeditated.
The Football Association (FA) will conduct a full review after a "large number of drunken yobs" tried to force their way in to Wembley without tickets ahead ...
