Disc jockeys that I know of are interesting personalities that are known for entertaining their listeners on their radio shows.
One Chicago disc jockey named Ray Stevens who is not to confused with singer Ray Stevens of "Everything Is Beautiful" fame or deceased pro wrestler Ray Stevens who was famous for his wrestling shows in San Francisco is using his talents to inspire his listeners to make donations to assist Braxton Mayes who is 20 years of age who has to walk 12 miles from his home in Montgomery to Batavia where is employed six days a week.
Braxton's 2006 GMC truck is not working at this time which forced him to walk his three hour walk to and from his workplace.
Ray who works at Chicago radio station WLS 890am happened to meet Braxton when he was driving his truck and and had a chat with the young man who told him about his need to have his truck repaired so he can drive from his home to work and back.
Ray then was able to contact social media sites to assist Braxton to have money to repair his truck by a mechanic. Thanks to the kindness of strangers, over $4,000 dollars was raised to repair Braxton's truck.
To make this story even sweeter, Braxton will have truck up and running in about two days, his employer after he found out that one of his employees walked from his home to work and vice versa, has offered Braxton a ride to and from his home.
Three cheers for Ray Stevens for assisting a young man who works hard for his paycheck.

I agree with you since Braxton was brought up the right way by his relatives.

I'm so glad that money was raised to help Braxton pay for his repairs and that his employer is giving him a ride to and from work.

I agree with you since Braxton has the right frame of mind to earn his paycheck despite having to walk a long distance from home to work.
