Rookie firefighter makes his first save of a cat trapped in a roof

Beaufort County firefighter Corey Hagan who is working on his job for the first day answered the call from a concerned citizen in Burton South Carolina earlier this week that a small cat that was trapped on top of a home for two days without any food and water. Corey used a ladder to climb the side of the building to get to the roof to call for the small cat to come to him so he could rescue the cat from dying of thirst and hunger. The cat who uses his instincts knew that Corey was friendly and he walked toward Corey who took the cat away from the roof of the owner of the one story building. Corey likely took the cat to an animal shelter to be looked at by the veterinarian so the cat will likely be placed for adoption. Corey named the cat Little Reece even though why the cat was named that way is not known other than humans like to name cats after a cartoon character or a fictional character.
