Our Europe tour included five glorious days in Switzerland. It covered all what a tourist should experience and that included a boat ride on Lake Lucerne Getting into the boat was just walking into it. It was in level with the road unlike what we see in India where one has to get help from someone to climb up on to a boat. We spent half a day inside looking around The image shows what we could see. We just spent quiet moments sipping tea and having snacks and that included Swiss chocolates. A memory that is captured in my mind and happy to share with you

@allknowing When people talk about preparing for their old age, they generally mean things like a pension and health insurance. But just as important is a good store of happy memories to re-live when you can no longer go off on adventures!

Whenever I am on foreign trips my shopping is mostly chocolates. I found the Belgium chocolates the best and in Australia I also bought home made chocolates. In New Zealand I bought Cadbury slabs and some commented that we get them in India but I told them the milk that is available in New Zealand makes all the difference

Switzerland is a very beautiful country. Thanks for sharing those amazing moments you experienced during your Europe tour. When did you go for the tour? How much was the cost? Which countries they covered?

I do not remember how much it cost. It covered seven countries - UK (London) France (Paris), Netherlands (Rotterdam and Amsterdam) Italy (Pisa Rome, Venice) Switzerland, Belgium (Brussels) and Germany. +

That sounds lovely. I did visit Lucerne many years ago but I was a penniless student on an inter-rail trip so my experience was a bit different to yours!
