Clothes For Donation

Yesterday, I wrote a post about setting aside items that I'll be posting for sale in my online shop. Prior to me doing that, I had gone through my closet and got clothes that are still in good condition but instead of putting it up for sale, these clothes will be donated. I was able to get two bag full of clothes - shirts, polo shirts, shorts, and pants.
I gave these clothes to the ambulant vendor selling 'taho' in our place. 'Taho' is silken tofu with caramelized sugar and tapioca pearls. It is a popular street food here in the Philippines. Anyway, this particular vendor has been a fixture in our place and we always buy from him. I figured that he will appreciate the clothes that he will be getting. He was indeed happy when I handed him the two bags. He said that he will share it with his sons.
I was glad that he appreciated the small gesture.

I'm a bit bigger and taller than him though but I'm sure the clothes will fit just fine. Not sure about his sons though.

This is a good deed done, giving away clothing to those in need:) Some have too many things, while others have almost nothing at all!

He did mention that he will share it with his sons. I know he cares more about comfort rather than style.

@allen0187 Good for you for donating them. Nothing wrong with trying to sell them either but I think it's good to either sell or donate rather than just putting it all in the bin. I know people who do that and it drives me crazy. If something is still good, then it can be put to good use by others so it's a waste trashing them. Good for you!
