Poetry: The meaning of meaning

The meaning of life can only be found from love

John chased the meaning of meaning, but without ever catching up to any meaning. as he was actually pulling himself, away from his own inner meaning of meaning. Meaning is not a leaning against anything else. Your meaning must not depend on anything else. Meaning does not live in any other meaning, but grows its own branches from its own roots. John still needed to know that he can not live, when he looks for meaning in the living itself. Love creates meaning for you, only when you begin to love your own life. there is a great thinking piece i read once called the choice of 3 doors. there are three doors in front of you - one will kill you one will free you the last door will puzzle you which would you choose?

Of course, there is a fourth choice, just to stay outside of all of the doors altogether, and to not choose at all, unless we are being forced to choose, which would make a paradox of the freeing door too. We have all taken the puzzling door in entering the Earth here, but we all take the killing door in the end. The thing is, though, all doors are freeing, for us, if we see life in that way. Or, the other thing is, though, that all doors are illusions as there are no doors to love. Love laughs loud, at all choices, and walks through all doors at once, in its oneness of flow too.

@Shiva49 Yes, we cannot stay on the outside of life all of the time, and when a door opens for us, it is usually a good idea to go through it, and to grasp a new opportunity too.

@innertalks that sadly is not a choice. there is no 4th option in life.

The meaning of the meaning is something very complex where the human being would spend years and years and would not reveal the totality of its meaning. It is one of those mysteries of life.

Yes, my point is though, that all of our search for meaning usually pulls us away from our own inner inbuilt meaning. When we find the meaning of life, within ourselves, as our being a part of that greater oneness of all life, we start to appreciate, and to love, life then, and only then will the real meaning be revealed to us, as love grows branches then on the roots of the meaning implanted in us already by God. Yes, it can take years for us to finally grow our own branches of meaning within ourselves, built on the rootstock that God has embedded within us too, for us to live from, and to grow from.

All the meaning is embedded in us and it is for us to live it than getting lost in searching for it outside. Maybe, lots of contemplation, reflection, borne out of our experiences can help. Yes, love and compassion, for our fellow travelers, can help us to live a more purposeful, meaningful, life.

The search outside of us, can go on forever, without our ever being satisfied with the meanings that we might find there. They are always lacking something, because they are not connecting us to the oneness, deep enough within ourselves, of which, when we do this, we attach ourselves then to true meaning too.

@Shiva49 And yet, at the end of the day, if we have lived our own life fully, uniquely so, we will have written a new page in God's book too, instead of our just inserting another photocopied page from someone else, in it instead. God likes original input, not copied, second-hand, stuff.

@innertalks Yes, we are unique and others are taken. We need to find our own way but taking in inputs from everywhere else too. Then our life becomes more meaningful and fulfilling than taking a view "it is all mentioned in the books".
