$119 for beer

Saturday was hubby's friend's birthday. First we went out to a Japanese restaurant for sushi. Then we decided to go to Draft Barn, which is a place where you can get some food but mainly lots of different kinds of beer.
Hubby ordered two beers. His friend ordered three. His wife ordered a Pepsi. And I ordered a slice of Nutella and banana crepe cake. The total of the bill without tip was about $119.
His friend was going to pay for it but hubby decided to pay instead. Not sure how much tip he left but $119 for mostly beer is too expensive in my opinion, even if the beer is imported.

Thats about 17 dollars for each item.
I know going out is part of the fun but those prices are awful high.

Walnuts have no place in cakes or brownies lol
That cake DOES sound good though.
That's a pretty expensive night for how little was ordered.
Was there a cover or surcharge?

@Vikingswest1 Thankfully, the walnuts were on top of the cake and not inside it. It did not say in the description that there were supposed to be walnuts. Otherwise it would have told them not to put any. I forgot to tell them not to put whipped cream. Often enough though, when I tell a waiter not to put any whipped cream they say they don't put any on the dessert, but when I don't ask they do put it.
I wouldn't say the cake was super delicious but it was tasty.

@lovebuglena That was the only option? I could understand a good cake dessert, but Nutella is something that is already made

It was good but I wouldn't say it was great. I was really craving for some dessert. They had no options but that one.

I completely agree, but people are scrambling to make money. Prices are going up everywhere.
