It's soup day

We received meat from lots of people today. It's apart of today's sacrifice celebration where people would share the meat that they sacrifice. It's not a lot but if lots of people give it, it will be a lot in the end. If you get what I am saying. Anyway, since we got bones as well, I decided to make soup. My aunt gave us rice as well so I don't need to cook rice or noodles to eat with the soup. I still have some left for other kind of dish.

Enjoy the soup and have a great evening. So you are off from work for today only or tomorrow too.

I think so but we'll see. The customers keep pushing for the company to start operating despite still being in lockdown. I might return to the office soon.

We don't have to but we can if we want to. Since they gave me meat, I would give another food in return.

In this country, it's usually cow, goat, lamb or buffalo. Buffalo is rare though.

@prinzcy Yes, simple, but filling. I sprinkle soy sauce on tofu, is all. But this evening, pastrami on sourdough with cheddar horseradish cheese, lettuce, fries and orange juice.

@prinzcy nothing beats like using fresh meats. Meats stored in the freezer for a long time does not taste good.

Yes, I was. I didn't add any veggie in this soup as I plan to reheat it multiple times. It's almost gone too. I would cook the rest of the meat tomorrow.
