Carbonara for Sunday Lunch

There's no special occasion. We have linguine pasta instead of rice this lunch. We just like to eat something special because it's raining the whole week this week or maybe because it's last Sunday of the month.
It turned out great. We put ham and mushrooms and some herbs. Made a white sauce and add cheese

@cacay1 yes, sometimes if we crave for it, we would ask our office mate to prepare one for us. We just share in the expenses.

Looks yummy. I'm not a fan of mushrooms nor do I eat meat so I would have left those two items out.

@averygirl72 I haven't eaten meat since I was 7 and I've never liked mushrooms. I eat pasta fruit vegetables etc

The Pasta looks good. We had cheese, cucumber and onion filled sandwiches and noodles from Top Ramen.
It was tasty but yes not something in a healthy category.

We do not serve this often at home. We usually cook spaghetti but I also like this carbonara. I just don't know how to make the sauce.

We cook this once in a while. I used to have a copy of carbonara recipe I learned from school but it's gone now

@averygirl72 When we cook, like we have only cooked it twice or thrice eversince, we use the ready to use carbonara sauce.. and we just add other ingredients. We don't know how to do it from scratch.. =)
