We are back home and I had a pretty busy day today. I had not planned on doing much other than getting all the animals straightened out which wasn't hard at all so that was a nice treat.
I got one load of laundry done and almost all put up. I hate putting clothes up!!
I'll have to check the suitcases early Sunday and see what we need to add but I think we are just about ready to pick up and head to the Gulf Coast. Hubby and I decided to run away for a week and chill. He has already mentioned sitting out by the pool and getting some sun. This is so not like him!!
I have been catching up on some notifications and have most of them done. I will do a little reading before heading to bed. Another busy day tomorrow!!
Anyone have any good weekend plans?

You will enjoy your trip immensely! We plan on going to Giant Eagle pharmacy and getting another copy of our COVID cards. For some reason I can't find ours. Then we will go out to eat at Red Lobster on some of my PayPal money. Don't work too hard!

@DocAndersen Those are good too! We only have a 2 to 2.5 hour drive to Biloxi so that won't be bad at all.

@Tampa_girl7 I haven't been since I was a kid! We need to hook up with my cousin and get him to bring us out there. I also want to stop and get a photo of Bouvier from the front. I didn't get one last year of the house itself. Lot's of interesting history there and it wasn't expensive for the tour. I think it was $12. We spent a couple of hours there. The tour was a good hour, could walk the garden and walk back to the Confederate Cemetary. They also had a great gift shop.

@kareng I really wanted to go to Ship Island this summer. It has a beautiful beach.

Friend, great those getaways, well deserved. How glad you are enjoying yourself, even if the day is busy. These are moments that you will treasure forever.

Think of the fun you will have next week after getting things done at home.

That is actually an old picture of family going on a camping trip. One of our daughters and her boyfriend were driving behind us and snapped a photo of the back of the travel trailer. It was still a nice day here although very hot. We are in the 90's with temps feeling like it is over 100 here with the heat factor.
