Stealth yarn-bombing

In recent years a bit of a ‘thing’ has developed for so-called ‘yarn-bombing’ - decorating street furniture such as lamp posts with knitted or crocheted covers. I’ve seen it done in a couple of places, especially in preparation for some local event.
The other day though, and for no particular reason (just to bring a little bit of cheer I guess) I found that some skilled person has created a crochet scene as a ‘hat’ for the local post box!
It’s kind of cute and it made me smile. And so far, in spite of all the heavy rain we’ve been having, it still looks good and hasn’t turned into a bedraggled mess as I feared. I wonder who made it?
Have you seen anything like this near you?

I have not seen anything like that here in the US. I wonder if a new trend is starting and will soon make its way across the pond to us?

@Fleura That’s very interesting. But if it brings a smile to someone’s face, then let’s hope they keep appearing!
