He did not care about power, think he was the the only American President where it is so obvious. I often wonder if this still happens anymore, especially in corporate world where people are just like please take this position.
Most will sell their mothers left arm to be put in a high position of power and to get paid. If you do not have that mentality they usually just look past you saying that dude or lady not one of us.
Washington did not want any political parties as he knew labels would just divide the country. We destroyed that in about 10 years. Anyway. neat scene and like when Thomas Jefferson comes and says this place sucks.
Also am in agreement Benjamin Franklin is the coolest of them all and they need to make a mini series of him. Now that would be a hoot.

I think John Adams was more of a great founder than A great President. I think he let his beef with Thomas Jefferson get in the way of what he was trying to actually accomplish and not taking into account what George Washington warned of with is infinite wisdom of what he had seen on the battlefield. That being said they did write memoirs and both Jefferson and Adams were great friends after their presidency both proud of what they founded and wish they handled their beef better.
