I met the new neighbors

My downstairs neighbor texted me and told me that new people were moving in next to me. She said it was a mother and daughter and told me the mother's name. I was just sitting outside on the landing with Charlie and they came up with a few boxes. We introduced ourselves and then the "mother" and I did a double take. She is a former student of mine. God I am getting old. I had her several years ago but definitely not long enough for her to have an older teenaged daughter. I don't know what the story is but that can't be her daughter. I told her to knock on the door anytime if she needs anything. It is nice to know that normal people are moving in. This building is great except for 1 apartment.
